Add a New Duty Type

This guide walks you through the steps to add a duty type in the Spothire dashboard. Follow these steps to ensure that all necessary information is correctly entered.

Steps to Add a New Duty Type

  1. Navigate to the Duty Types Dashboard

    • Log in to the Spothire dashboard.
    • Go to Masters.
    • Under Masters, select Duty Types
  2. Open the Add Customer Form

    • Click on the + Add Duty Type button to open the form to fill the duty type details.

1. Fill in Duty Type Details

Duty Type

  • Type: Select the Type of Duty from the dropdown (required field).
  • Duty Type Name: Enter a name for the Duty Type (required field).
  • Custom Field (Related Customer ID): Select one or more cities from the dropdown to limit this Duty Type to only those cities.

2. Save the Duty Type

  • After entering all details, click on the Save button to finalize the Duty Type entry.

This completes the process of adding a new duty type. Make sure all mandatory fields are filled and correct before saving the information.
